Thank you for submitting your application for the CDU Menzies Medical Program via the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC). Your application should be submitted through the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC). Applications open Thursday, 29 August, and we encourage applicants to submit as soon as possible after this date.

Please provide supporting documentation in your SATAC application, or if you have already submitted your application, log in to your mySATAC application, choose ‘Submission’ in the navigation menu, select ‘Documents’, then ‘Upload personal documents.

All documentation, including uploading all evidence and completing this application pack, must be provided prior to the closing date to ensure that your application can be assessed for shortlisting.

As part of the application process, you will be required to provide details of your previous education history; all education, even incomplete, should be listed on your application through SATAC.

If you completed Year 12 in Australia, or have studied at most Australian Universities, SATAC can usually obtain results on your behalf. List your Year 12 and tertiary studies in your SATAC application. If requested by SATAC, you will be required to upload official academic transcripts of your results to your application.

Results from your most recent qualification and prior two years of study will be considered as part of the assessment. Please indicate what pathway you are applying based on. Note the academic transcripts required for each.

Ensure all higher education qualifications you have undertaken (complete and incomplete) are listed on your SATAC application. If you completed your degree outside of Australia, you will need to upload your official academic transcripts and evidence of completion to SATAC.

This course offers four (4) subquotas. In assessing applicants, and in keeping with CDU’s strategic plan, priority of admission is given to NT First Nations Australians and NT residents. Applicants in the remaining subquotas may still be shortlisted should places remain.

1. NT First Nations Subquota : Applicants who identify as being of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and have resided within the NT for:

• at least two (2) of the past six (6) years, or

• a total of five (5) years since commencing primary school.

2. NT Residency Subquota : Applicants who have resided within the NT for:

• at least two (2) of the past six (6) years, or

• a total of five (5) years since commencing primary school.

3. First Nations Subquota (non-NT Residents): Applicants who identify as being of Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait Islander descent, and do not meet the NT residency requirements.

4. Rural and Remote Subquota : Applicants who reside in a rural or remote area (designated as MM2 to MM7 on the Modified Monash Model) outside of the NT for:

• 5 or more consecutive years within the last ten (10) years; or

• 10 cumulative years since commencing preschool.

Applicants applying for a subquota, must submit supporting evidence, through SATAC, as stipulated in the table below. Please review and indicate which (if any) subquota/s you are applying for. You are able to compete in multiple subquotas if eligible.

Please complete the Subquota Evidence Address Form listing your eligible addresses and upload it to your SATAC application.  You must also upload evidence of residency in the designated areas for the minimum durations stated  in your SATAC application.

*Accepted evidence includes utility bills, rates, rental agreements, bank statements, and academic records.

**IMPORTANT** Evidence Required: 

Confirmation of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage, evidenced by a letter of confirmation from a recognised Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Organisation with their Common Seal of Confirmation.
