CDU Menzies Medical Program

Application Pack - 2025

Introduction

Thank you for submitting your application for the Bachelor of Clinical Science/Doctor of Medicine (CDU Menzies Medical Program) via the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC).

To assist the Admissions Panel in shortlisting candidates for interviews, please complete all six (6) sections of this application pack:

  • Section 1: Personal details

  • Section 2: Admission pathways selection

  • Section 3: Admission Subquota selection

  • Section 4:  Applicable to certain subquota types only

    • Home address details

    • Statutory Declaration ( if applicable, must be completed by hand)

Key Dates

04 August 2025:  SATAC applications open for Semester 1 2026

  → We encourage you to submit this CMMP Application Pack shortly after lodging your SATAC application.

10 October 2025:  SATAC applications close for this course

  → This CMMP Application Pack must also be submitted by this date.

✅ Please note: The evidence requirements for this course differ from other courses you may be applying for through SATAC or other state application systems. Ensure you review and provide all required documentation in your SATAC application accordingly.

Application Process

Step 1: Submit Your SATAC Application

  1. Apply through SATAC:
    If you haven’t already, apply through the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC) to begin your application.

  2. Upload Supporting Evidence:
    During your SATAC application, you are required to upload supporting evidence.
    For details on what is required, refer to the CDU Course Guide or Sections 2 and 3 of this online form.

  3. Clarify Supporting Documents:
    ⚠️ If any supporting documents (e.g., proof of residency) are in another person’s name, you must clarify this before submitting this  CMMP Application Pack.
    (More information is available in Section 3 of this online form.)

  4. Upload Additional Documents (if needed):
    If you’ve already submitted your SATAC application and need to upload more documents:

    • Log in to your mySATAC account

    • Go to the “Submission” section

    • Select “Documents”, then click “Upload personal documents”

Step 2: Complete this CMMP Application Pack

  1. Complete this CMMP Application Pack:

    • Carefully complete this  CMMP Application Pack.

    • This pack is available between 04 August 2025 and 10 October 2025—ensure you submit it within that timeframe.

    • After submitting the form, a copy of your completed pack will be sent to your nominated email address.

  2. If All Supporting Evidence Is in Your Own Name:

    •  No further action is required.

  3. If Any Supporting Evidence Is in Another Person’s Name:

    • Print the completed CMMP Application Pack

    • Complete and sign the Statutory Declaration (included in the pack)

    • Upload the entire completed pack, including the Statutory Declaration, to your SATAC application

To be considered for shortlisting, you must:

  • Complete and submit this CMMP Application Pack, and answer all questions.

  • Upload all required evidence / supporting documents to your SATAC application  before the course closing date

Section 2: Admission Pathways & Required Transcripts

Education History Requirements

Please select your admission pathway below and carefully review the important information provided for your chosen pathway.

Important Reminder: You must list all completed and incomplete studies in your SATAC application.

IMPORTANT: Current Year 12 Students:

If you completed Year 12 in Australia and studied at most Australian universities, SATAC could usually retrieve your results. However, you must still :

  • List your Year 12 and tertiary studies  in your SATAC application, and 

  • Upload your Year 11 reports & Year 12 first semester report to your SATAC Application.

Providing this information is essential for assessing your academic scoring and determining your eligibility for shortlisting for an interview.

Note: Reports must include specific grades (e.g., A–E or 100%–0%). Reports with only Pass/Fail or S/U grades cannot be considered for shortlisting.

⚠  IMPORTANT: Recent School Leaver (Completed Year 12 in 2023 or 2024)

Please ensure you have listed your Year 12 studies in your SATAC application.

IMPORTANT: Recent School Leaver and Current Higher Education Student (Minimum 1.0FTE)

If you completed school within the last two years and are currently enrolled in a higher education course (with at least 1.0 FTE completed by the end of 2025), you are eligible to apply under both admission pathways. We will assess both your ATAR and GPA and use the highest score.

Ensure you list in SATAC Application:

  • Higher education studies

  • TAFE/VET qualifications

  • Year 12 studies

  • STAT results (if applicable)

IMPORTANT: Current Higher Education Students  (Minimum 1.0FTE)

Please note you will need to have completed a minimum of 1.0 FTE and have received your GPA by Jan 2025 to be eligible for this pathway.

Ensure you list in your SATAC Application:

  • Higher education studies

  • TAFE/VET qualifications

  • Year 12 studies

  • STAT results (if applicable)

If admitted into your degree based on employment, please upload to SATAC a CV with work history.

IMPORTANT: Completed Bachelor Degree (within 10 years)

  • Please ensure that all higher education qualifications you have undertaken (both complete and incomplete) are listed on your SATAC application.

  • If you completed your degree outside of Australia, you will need to upload your official academic transcripts and evidence of completion to SATAC.

Section 3: Subquotas for Admission

This course offers four (4) subquotas. In alignment with CDU’s strategic plan, priority admission is given to NT First Nations Australians and NT residents. Applicants in other subquotas may still be considered if places remain.

Note: Applicants must submit supporting evidence through SATAC

Eligibility

Required Evidence

NT First N ations Subquota Applicants who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and have resided in the NT for:
At least 2 of the past 6 years
, or
- A total of 5 years since starting primary school.
1. Confirmation of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage (letter from a recognised organisation with a Common Seal of Confirmation).
2. Proof of NT residency (e.g., utility bills, rental agreements, bank statements, academic records).
NT Residency Subquota Applicants who have resided in the NT for:
- At least 2 of the past 6 years, or
- A total of 5 years since starting primary school.
Proof of NT residency (e.g., utility bills, rental agreements, bank statements, academic records).
First Nations Subquota (Non-NT Residents) Applicants who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander but do not meet NT residency requirements. Confirmation of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage (letter from a recognized organization with a Common Seal of Confirmation).
Rural and Remote Subquota Applicants who reside in a rural or remote area ( Modified Monash Model   MM4–MM7 , outside the NT) for:
- 5+ consecutive years within the last 10 years
, or
- 10 cumulative years since starting preschool.
Proof of residency in designated areas (e.g., utility bills, rental agreements, bank statements, academic records).
No Subquota Applications under this category will only be considered if other subquotas cannot be filled. No additional documentation is required.

  Important Information

Evidence must be provided for all years. 

For example, if you are proving your residency for 5 years since starting primary school, you must provide at least  one document of evidence for each of the 5 years.

IMPORTANT: Evidence Required – NT First Nations

You have indicated that you meet the NT First Nations eligibility requirements.

To confirm your eligibility, you must provide:

1️⃣ Proof of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage

  • A letter from a recognized Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander organization

  • The letter must include their Common Seal of Confirmation.

Upload this evidence to your SATAC application.

2️⃣ Proof of NT Residency (for the required duration)

Accepted evidence includes:

✔ Utility bills
✔ Rates notices
✔ Rental agreements
✔ Bank statements
Official academic records (e.g., school results)

Note: If you need to prove two years of NT residency and you completed Years 11 and 12 at an NT school, uploading your official academic reports for both years will satisfy this requirement.

Note: By selecting this sub-quota. you will automatically qualify for the NT Resident sub-quota also, should the NT First Nations Sub Quota exceed its capacity

IMPORTANT: Evidence Required - NT Residency

You have indicated that you meet the NT Residency eligibility requirements.

To confirm your eligibility, you must upload the following proof of NT residency (for the required duration) to your SATAC application:

Note: If you need to prove two years of NT residency and you completed Years 11 and 12 at an NT school, uploading your official academic reports for both years will satisfy this requirement.

IMPORTANT: Evidence Required - First Nations

You have indicated that you meet the  First Nations eligibility requirements

To confirm your eligibility, you must provide:

Proof of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage

  • A letter from a recognized Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander organization

  • The letter must include their Common Seal of Confirmation

Note: Ensure all evidence is uploaded to your SATAC application.

IMPORTANT: Evidence Required - Rural and Remote (MM4-MM7)

You have indicated that you meet the residency requirements for rural and remote areas (MM4 – MM7). Please verify your location using the Modified Monash Model.

To confirm your eligibility, you must upload proof of residency in these designated areas for the required minimum duration as part of your SATAC application.

Accepted Evidence:

✔ Utility bills
✔ Rates notices
✔ Rental agreements
✔ Bank statements
✔ Official academic records (e.g., school reports)

Note: If you completed the required years at a school within an eligible MM4–MM7 area and have uploaded your official academic reports for each year, no additional residency evidence is needed.

Note: Ensure all evidence is uploaded to your SATAC application.

IMPORTANT: Evidence Required - 2 Subquotas: 

  • First Nations (Rest of Australia except NT)

  • Rural and Remote 

You have indicated that you meet the  First Nations and Rural and Remote (MM4-MM7) eligibility requirements. Please verify your location using the Modified Monash Model

To confirm your eligibility, you must provide:

1️⃣ First Nations Evidence -  Proof of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage

  • A letter from a recognized Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander organization

  • The letter must include their Common Seal of Confirmation

Note: Ensure all evidence is uploaded to your SATAC application.

2️⃣  Proof of Rural and Remote Residency (for the required duration)

To confirm your eligibility, you must  upload proof of residency in these designated areas for the required minimum duration as part of your SATAC application.

✅  Note: If you completed the required years at a school within an eligible MM4–MM7 area and have uploaded your official academic reports for each year, no additional residency evidence is needed.

IMPORTANT: No Subquota

Please note that you will only be considered if we are unable to fill all other subquotas in the course.

Section 4: Proving your Subquota Eligibility (Northern Territory or Rural and Remote (MM4 -MM7) Sub Quota)

Instructions for completing Question 4

You have selected   NT First Nations ,  NT Residents, or  Rural and Remote Subquotas.

  1. Complete Q4 and list each home address to confirm you meet the sub-quota requirements: 

    • Click   "Add Address" to enter each address separately.

    • Provide full street addresses (PO Boxes are not accepted).

    • Include start and end dates (month & year) for each residence.

    • Ensure no gaps between addresses if proving consecutive years.

  2. Upload supporting documents to your SATAC application (if you have not done so already)


The below table is an example of an NT resident prooving they have lived in NT for at least the last 2 consecutive years:

As noted above, you are required to submit evidence to prove you meet the sub-quota eligibility requirements.

Please ensure you have uploaded your evidence to SATAC. If you have not done so yet, before proceeding any further, please confirm whether all your evidence is in your own name.
