Introduction

Thank you for applying for the Bachelor of Clinical Science Medicine / Doctor of Medicine (CDU Menzies Medical Program).

Depending on your applicant type, you will have applied through either SATAC (domestic applicants) or StudyLink (international (onshore non-student visa hodlers) applicants). 

To assist the Admissions team in shortlisting candidates for interview, please complete all six (6) sections of this application pack:

  • Section 1: Personal details

  • Section 2: Admission pathway selection

  • Section 3: Admission subquota selection

  • Section 4: Additional requirements (certain subquota types only)

Application Process

Step 1: Submit Your SATAC or StudyLinkApplication

  1. Apply through SATAC or StudyLink: Apply through the SATAC or StudyLink if you haven't already submitted an application.

  2. Upload Supporting Evidence: During your SATAC / StudyLink application, you are required to upload supporting evidence. For details on what is required, refer to the Quota section in the CDU Course Guide or Sections 2 and 3 of this online form.

  3. Clarify Supporting Documents: ⚠️ If any supporting documents (e.g., proof of residency) are in another person's name, you must clarify this before submitting this CMMP Application Pack. (More information is available in Section 3 of this online form.)

  4. Upload Additional Documents (if needed): If you've already submitted your SATAC application and need to upload more documents:

    • Log in to your mySATAC account

    • Go to the "Submission" section

    • Select "Documents", then click "Upload personal documents"

Step 2: Complete this CMMP Application Pack

  1. Complete this CMMP Application Pack carefully and submit it within the open dates: 3 August 2026 – 9 October 2026. A copy of your completed pack will be sent to your nominated email address after submission.

  2. If all supporting evidence is in your own name: No further action is required.

  3. If any supporting evidence is in another person's name: Print the completed CMMP Application Pack, complete and sign the Statutory Declaration (included in the pack), then upload the entire completed pack — including the Statutory Declaration — to your SATAC application.

If you completed Year 12 in Australia and studied at most Australian universities, SATAC could usually retrieve your results. However, you must still:

  • List your Year 12 and tertiary studies in your SATAC application, and 

  • Upload your Year 11 reports & Year 12 first semester report to your SATAC Application.

If you completed school within the last two years and are currently enrolled in a higher education course (with at least 0.5 FTE completed by the end of 2026), you are eligible to apply under both admission pathways. We will assess both your ATAR and GPA and use the highest score.

Ensure you list in SATAC Application:

  • Higher education studies

  • TAFE/VET qualifications

  • Year 12 studies

  • STAT results (if applicable)

IMPORTANT: Current Higher Education Students (Minimum 0.5FTE)

Please note you will need to have completed a minimum of 0.5 FTE and will receive your GPA by December 2026 to be eligible for this pathway.

Ensure you list in your SATAC Application:

  • Higher education studies

  • TAFE/VET qualifications

  • Year 12 studies

  • STAT results (if applicable)

If admitted into your degree based on employment, please upload to SATAC a CV with work history.

IMPORTANT: Completed Bachelor Degree (within 10 years (2017))

  • Please ensure that all higher education qualifications you have undertaken (both complete and incomplete) are listed on your SATAC application.

  • If you completed your degree outside of Australia, you will need to upload your official academic transcripts and evidence of completion to SATAC.

Section 3: Subquotas for Admission

Sub-Quotas

This course offers five (5) sub-quotas. In alignment with CDU's strategic plan, priority admission is given to NT First Nations Australians and NT residents and Rural and Remote residents. Applicants in other sub-quotas may still be considered if places remain.

This course offers two (2) sub-quotas.

For example, if you are proving your residency for 5 years since starting primary school, you must provide at least one document of evidence for each of the 5 years.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Evidence Required — NT Residency (MM4–MM7 Location)

You have indicated that you meet the NT Residency MM4–MM7 eligibility requirements for rural and remote areas. Please verify your location using the Modified Monash Model Tool.

If you do not meet the full MM4–MM7 eligibility — for example, you have lived in an MM4–MM7 location for less than the required duration, but have lived elsewhere in the NT — please select the NT Resident Sub Quota instead.

To confirm MM4–MM7 eligibility, upload one of the following as proof of NT residency for the required duration to your SATAC application:

  • Utility bills

  • Rates notices

  • Rental agreements

  • Bank statements

  • Official academic records (e.g. school results)

✅ If your required residency period is two years and you completed Years 11 and 12 at a school in an MM4–MM7 location, your official academic reports for both years will satisfy this requirement.

You have indicated that you meet the First Nations eligibility requirements

To confirm your eligibility, you must provide:

How to Check Your MM (Modified Monash Model) Classification
  1. Go to the Health Workforce Locator: Health Workforce Locator Tool

  2. In the search bar, make sure "Street Address" is selected from the drop-down menu (rather than suburb or postcode), then type in your residential address.

  3. Select your address from the suggested drop-down list. The map will load automatically.

  4. A summary of classifications will be displayed for that address. Look for the section labelled "Modified Monash Model."

  5. Use the category listed for the most recent year — currently the 2023 MMM classification. This is the version SATAC will rely on.

  6. Note the number shown (MM1–MM7). MM1 is a major city and MM7 is very remote — you need MM4, MM5, MM6, or MM7 for the Rural and Remote MM4–MM7 sub-quota.

How to Check Your MM (Modified Monash Model) Classification
